PortingXS was set up in 2001. With the introduction of number retention, there was a clear need within the telecommunications market to outsource the increased level of administrative activities associated with the transfer process at the lowest possible costs. PortingXS detected this gap in the market and subsequently established a small, flexible back-office organization for porting numbers.

What started as an ambitious plan has now developed into a sound and specialized business in the field of monitored, number-related back-office services for the telecommunications market in The Netherlands.
